Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, Honest, and Compassionate Answers to Guide You Through Every Step of Your Adoption Journey.

Who can I talk to about my feelings?
You can always talk with one of our compassionate adoption specialists. We’re here to listen, support, and guide you through every step of your adoption journey. If you’re looking to hear from others who’ve made similar choices, we encourage you to visit our Testimonials or Birth Mother pages to read real stories from women who have walked this path.
Do I have to pay for the adoption?
No, there is no cost to you. In most states, birth mothers can receive financial help with living expenses such as rent, phone, utilities, food, transportation, and maternity clothes. Let us know if you need assistance, we are here to help.
How do I know the adoptive parents are reliable and caring?
We only work with adoptive parents who have been fully approved through a rigorous screening process, including background checks and a home study conducted by a licensed social worker. We are highly selective and committed to matching you with families who are emotionally and financially prepared to raise a child.
Can I choose the adoptive parents?
Yes. After reviewing profiles of families who match your preferences, you choose the adoptive parents that feel right to you.
Can I meet the adoptive parents or get to know them?
Yes, if that’s what you want. Many birth mothers choose to speak with the adoptive parents by phone, video chat, or even meet in person before the birth. You decide how much or how little contact you want, both before and after the adoption.
I don’t have a solid support system at home. Can I have someone to lean on?
Yes. Your adoption specialist is available day and night to offer guidance and emotional support. You are never alone in this process; we will walk with you every step of the way.
What if I go into labor before selecting adoptive parents?
It’s okay. Even if you haven’t chosen adoptive parents before going into labor, we will work quickly to present qualified families and ensure your baby goes directly to a loving home. Your baby will not enter foster care.
How should I talk to my other children or family members about adoption?
Every situation is unique. Your adoption specialist can share examples and advice from other birth mothers who have had these conversations. Together, we will help you find the words and support you need.
What about my privacy, will my information be kept confidential?
Yes. Everything you share with us is kept private and confidential. Only the people you choose to involve will be part of your adoption journey.
